Thank you. Song is "ishikari banka" (ishikari elegy) that issued 1975, sing by "mirei kitahara " "ishikari" is western area of hokkaido in japan. 100 years ago, "ishikari" flourished by "Pacific herring". Yaer by year "Pacific herring" fish catch decrease from 1920 couse of exessive catch. Sings about "Pacific herring" fish shoal that is not coming. But realy, sings about lover who is not come back. She continued waiting.

Before it was women taking all the roles but after it was found that the YOUNG women would prostitute themselves after shows, men took over. Young boys infact. But the same thing happened so only mature men were allowed. But now the times have changed and as you can see Taichi Saotome is only 16 and is a well established onnagata.

Do you know "oyama" that act as a woman in "kabuki" and "public theatre"? It's not a too bad . His behavior is beautiful more than woman. "Taichi saotome" is over the real woman. He is a highlighted actor in japan now. Because he can act true japanease woman. Do you know "kitahara mirei" She is proficient singer that same age with "miyako harumi" in japan "enka"
